El-Mostafa Nechchadi
El-Mostafa Nechchadi is the coach of most of the PMI athletes. Mostafa was a 1988 Olympian in the marathon and held the Moroccan national marathon record for 10 years. Now an American citizen, Mostafa was second in the 1987 London Marathon and ranked #3 in the world for marathon that year. In 1989 he was ranked #1 in the world for half-marathon. He has coached Catherine Ndereba to 2 Olympic Silver Medals at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics (Athens and Beijing), a Gold Medal performance at the 2003 World Championships in Paris, a Silver Medal at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki, 4 Boston Marathon titles, 2 Chicago Marathon titles and a world marathon record 2:18:47.
